Me and Dad did these in the kitchen the other day when we were watching a David Attenborough doc. Dad did the Pangolin and I did the Wildebeest.
Fact of the day: Pangolin's are often mistaken with Armadillo's but Pangolin's are only found in Africa and Asia, whereas Armadillos are only found in America & South America. Pangolins have really scaly skin.
The weary stick man....the hopeless daisy....the mystery half face....the searching eye....the endless spiral....the so slow snail.....these are the unsung doodles that we forget.
Some of the best art work comes from the doodles & sketches we do when we are doing something else...these doodles are under-represented. They are unsung.
A stream of conciousness can be a masterpiece.
Doodles get lost on scrap paper or tucked away in note books...thrown away like yesterday's news.
If you come across this blog and feel you have an unrepresented doodle, please send it to me for my project.
My aim is to collect and represent the Unsung Doodles.
Come on - there are lots of good ones out there...
(If you want to send me a doodle, please send as an image or picture file to lucyivhurst@gmail.com)
